The sound of Darksoma's voice echoed through her imagination, saying words best left forbidden from the outside world. the training room around her becoming a mass of loud noises, making it impossible to keep track of the ponies around her without magic.

"You okay?" The hushed words of Blaze entered her left ear, making it the only voice to cut through the wall of static. "You seem distracted."

"It's nothing. Just thinking." Yuki spoke softly but clearly.

"About what?" Blaze spoke in a casual tone, a hint of boredom somehow managing to slip through his words. "I mean, there's a lot to think about right now... a new home, some new friends..." With a sigh, he added. "Basically, a new way of life."

Yuki remained quiet, the feeling of embarrassment filling her. Her thoughts were totally on the wrong topic. Taking a deep breath, she tried to brush off the warmness of her cheeks and hide it with a blank expression.

"By the way... That Darksoma guy you talked to and... apparently fought?"

"What about him," She said, perhaps a little too quickly.

Blaze paused for a moment.

Even without sight, she knew he was staring at her.

"Well, uh... He's staring at you." Blaze continued finally. "He's been doing so for the past couple of minutes."

And now her face was burning. "What, Why?" She quickly bit her tongue, turning away from where blaze supposedly was. Her blank expression has quickly melted away.

"I don't know... I think he can tell we notice, though... He's looking everywhere else now."
