To the public, Glaze was a talented and famous musician. When the Equestria-Zebra war started, she vanished from the public when her fans needed her the most. Little do they know, she is contributing to a key aspect of the war.
In game, Glaze is potentially the highest damage mage in the entire game. But there is a catch - she starts the game with a timer. She can slow down the timer, but it will eventually run out. Piloting her requires not only and understanding of how to deal damage, but also the correct moment to attack.
