Nyx was an accidental creation from an attempt to resummon the Nightmare Moon back into the world. Shunned by the society for her alicorn features, Nyx decided to embrace her power of darkness, and is plotting to overthrow the princesses off the throne.
In game, Nyx is an emperor character who uses a unique resource: 'hate'. She becomes stronger when being the target of enemies, and can choose to damage or heal based on the circumstances.
