Maretime Bay is Baltimare/Horseshoe Bay... but there appears to be new water south of it? New water may just be for promo material simplification, or may be a canon change to Equestrian geography.
Bridlewood is a seemingly a new town, south of Tall Tail near the West Cost.

How did the pegasi come to control Canterlot, I wonder?
At the very least we know some major event has caused a few places to change names... either due to being captured by a different governing body and being renamed or simply being renamed as time has gone on. This suggests to me the time skip is VERY BIG.
