This takes place when the Guardians of Harmony are the age of the CMC.

Just to give a small backstory, Vern (That's Vernal Equinox's nickname) lives in the human world. One day, Sunset decided to take the family on a "vacation" but where it was to was a surprise. It turns out they went into Equestria! Everyone was super duper confused, especially Wallflower and Vern, having never been to Equestria before. Later, Sunset proposed Vern go to the ponyville schoolhouse to meet the local fillies and foals. Soon, Vern met Pecan Pi, the daughter of the former headmistress of the ponyville school, Cheerilee.

"Heya, new filly! What's your name?"

"Vern."

"Isn't that a colt's name?"

"Oh no. Is it?"

"Doesn't matter. Friends?"

"What?"

"You know what friends are, right, silly?"

"Yes..."

"Then you wanna be friends, Vern?"

Later... Vern met up with her sister, Wallflower, and Sunset. "Mama, can we come here more often? I made a friend!"
