Weakened from the blood loss, the desperate female struggled to get to her egg. She took it in her claws and ran off, trying to keep her vision clear. She came across a river, watching the water rush downstream. She grabbed a log and placed the egg inside, pushing the makeshift boat in the water. The female collapsed from pain and exhaustion, watching the log float away until it disappeared from her sight. Her mission completed, the female’s eyelids slowly slid over her light-blue eyes. As the female slumped over, her ragged breathing came to a stop.
