Listen can I just fanboy for a minute??? I absolutely ADORE Hawk Thorn. He’s not only the first adopt I’ve ever bought using PayPal but he’s officially my son and if anyone were to hurt him I’d personally walk upstairs to God and file a complaint.

Anyway DESIGN CHANGES!!! I love his OG design (created by the absolutely fantastic, wonderful and pretty friggin talented mylittlegami btw) but I knew I’d change some details! Like instead of what I assume is feather hair I gave him locs and…. That’s about it honestly!! (I also gave him a wild, outgoing, sassy, and flirtatious wife who is also incredibly scary and intimidating when provoked. Not to mention she’s an incredible assassin for the gang they’re apart of hehe)

Anyways- onto Chaos. Inc. big ol birds

Hawk Thorn (previously known as Hawk Eye)

Born to Lilly Emerald (a single mare) in an isolated ranch, Hawks grew up with a bad set of cards that life had given him. Being half pony and half griffon did not work in his favor in his day and age.

No public school for griffons or ponies would accept Thorn due to his conflicting appearance. So it wasn’t until he got to Highschool that he was able to squeeze himself into a griffon school rather than be homeschooled by his stressed mom who already worked hard to keep food on the table.

This is also where he got to interact with other kids around his age, many of which picked on him for his pony features that were “plastered on him”. However, a certain griffon just so happened to get stuck as a project partner in their final year of highschool.

They both bonded over their shared interest for anything sweet and their anti-discrimination ideals. Of course, their relationship wasn’t sunshine and rainbows due too the public picking at the fact GG was with some half blood chicken.

Upon graduating though the pair were ready to move out of their dusty old town and start their own bakery… in pony dominated cities.

So Hawks kissed his mom on the cheek, promised to send letters, grabbed his bag and flew off with his girlfriend.

Their plans fell through, getting a loan was nearly impossible, no pony would dare work for them, and their bakery lasted for barely 3 months before they had to shut down shop. The pair became angry, getting closer with eachother in their shitty apartment that was about to kick them out.

Rosary Pea (previously known as Grinny-Gean)

GG grew up being raised by her grandfather, enjoying a semi-normal childhood. They weren’t rich but food was always on the table and her grandfather was one of the few that believed in kindness and generosity. This is what sparked her to always try and make friends and see the absolute best in others. Of course this lands her in a friendship with Hawks and eventually they began dating.

He was everything GG wasn’t. He was monotoned, sorta verbally stunted and awkward. But he ALWAYS brought her baked goods he managed to make with whatever he could afford. He always held her claws at lunch without shame and openly cuddled her during study sessions. Despite his cold exterior she was able to pick at his callous covered heart and pull out his softer side.

However the death of her grandfather hit her hard before she graduated. Handling the messy aftermath of finances and estate on top of mourning is one hell of a thing.

Things don’t get better once she’s leaves with Hawks either. They’re broke, about to be homeless, and face constant discrimination due to their appearances. They both became angrier with the world and become eachothers biggest comfort.

-How they got into Chaos Inc.-

Eventually the couple were kicked out of their apartment and resorted to sleeping in alleys and abandoned buildings.

Though one evening the pair were caught in a terrible rainstorm and flooded out of the warehouse they were taking refuge in. They were both cold, on edge, and starving. So when a passerby knocked shoulders with Thorn followed by a shitty comment- something snapped in both of them. GG grabbed the unicorn by his vest, yanking him into a nearby alley, and slammed him against the slimy brick wall. Both were pissed, acting irrationally and emotionally hurt. They’d tried so hard, been so kind, and yet the world treated them like dirt. For no reason other than things that were out of their control.

They were the only ones that left that alley, enough bits to get them some cheap meals and newfound guilt and rage.

Though afterwards they were greeted by an older unicorn with plenty of umbrellas, slicked back hair, and a free meal ticket.

This was a gang leader known as Gold Bit sat them down at a diner and ordered them whatever they wanted. He’d never seen anyone eat as quickly and aggressively as they did. Though he didn’t note them as behaving like Griffons (primal eating is a stereotype) he noted them as eating like two starving young adults that were down on their luck.

Taking advantage of their vulnerable state- he offered up his own beliefs. A world where you aren’t judged by your looks but rather your strength. No snooty unicorns to shove you around and sneer. Everyone would be entirely equal until proven as weak.

The couple weren’t completely devoted and mostly joined for food and shelter. So they threw away their old names, changing them to something more threatening. Sorry Hawk Thorn but idk if “Thorn” is more intimidating but go off.

As of right now they’re currently assassins, snuffing out certain elites.
