Description:
You were a civilian photographer casually walking around in a military’s base, under normal circumstances it would have been restricted access (For obvious reasons), but this time the army… or it was the navy? Anyways, they were going to publicly unveil a new aircraft, seemingly a jet flying boat that could reach a maximum transonic speed of Mach 1… Or that’s what you remember from the meeting…
“Where the heck I am?” You said to nobody in particular as you walked on the cliff, the sea was on your right side, or well… they said it wasn’t a sea but a very big lake… whatever, you were lost.
“Ah, great… My first day and I’m going to get fired because I couldn’t take a darn picture…” You muttered, and following that you motioned to kick a small rock towards the sea… lake, when you saw it…
You were berating yourself internally about how blind you were and how you could miss that… a huge pony… or it was a pony? It had some wings, a tail that looked like one of a plane, and a USA Roundel where there would be a Cutie Mark. It was happily humming softly and drawing in the sand, the rim of their hoof creating paths in the undersea ground, you had no idea what it was doing, but you quickly figured out that this was the jet they were talking about, and consequently prepared your camera.
Selecting the right angle, and rotating a little the lens, you pointed at the plane… pony, thing, whatever it was, you weren’t missing this chance. A quick adjustment to your position so she would appear completely on the photo… and…
Pwoosh
The flash of your camera emitted the distinctive and telltale sound that the picture was already taken, you smiled and took a look at the camera to see how the photo did appear and if it was good…
…The thing that you didn’t notice was the ears of the plane pony locking onto you at the flash, said pony stopping their motion, and a big mass facing you.
You were ready to take a second picture, you again pointed the camera at the pony, and without much thinking you took the photo number two, or at least that’s what the camera said.
You lowered the camera and suddenly you realized it… her, she had eyelashes. Anyways, she was looking directly at you, and then momentarily shifting at the camera, then again at you. You could’ve sworn that a blush started appearing on her blue and white cheeks.
With a relatively loud Fwoosh! a blue and white hoof (The same one she was drawing with) emerged from the water, her tail quickly went to “protect” the hind legs, one of which moved a bit forward to reposition.
She gave you a shy smile, as she gently waved her raised forehoof from left to right repeatedly, pellets of water flying away from the wet appendage and hitting the water below, one of those funnily hitting your face, which you simply wiped off.
“Hi...” Finally she said, her voice was gentle, and you could notice a small streak of shyness on it. You dropped your camera, which hit your chest because of the strap, and gently waved her back.
“Hello!” You said energetically and a little bit happy (Most likely because you weren’t getting fired today, but still). She seemed to ease a bit and her hoof returned back to the water with a similar Fwoosh, gently stepping over the undersea sand. “Um….” She started, “Are you going to show that photo to anybody?”. The blush grew a bit more. It was clear that she was talking about the first photo, where you caught her doodling on the sand. You looked at her, her expression was one of ‘Please, say no’, and her smile was so shy, she was irresistibly cute, darn it….
You sighed a little, took the camera… went to image options, and proceeded to hit the red button of delete, the camera asked ‘Are you sure?’, heck yeah, I don’t want to die of diabetes today, then you raised your view and said “Not anymore…. Deleted it. Perhaps they’ll be happy with the second.”
Her smile widened, her blush dissipating a little. “Oh, thank you very much! I was worried” She said excitedly, and, before you could even react, she said something along the lines of “C’mere!” and a white hoof suddenly pushed you towards the sea, when you managed to realize what did just happen you were gently sandwiched between a pillow soft and covered with smooth white fur underhoof and an extremely fluffy white chest in a hug, or what you thought was a hug… how she even has fluff in the first place?
You gasped at the sudden and unexpected break of personal space. She realized what she just did and she got a little shocked, inadvertently squeezing you a bit more. She slowly took her hoof away, letting you fall gently on her underhoof, and she slowly placed you back on where you were originally before her outburst.
“Oh, I’m terribly sorry, I… I just got excited…” She said, her ears and face lowering as she looked like a beaten dog.
You stood up and looked at yourself… your mane, tail and fur were wet, most likely by her [wet hoof-photographer-chest sandwich mix she tried to do], you shook yourself like a cat, trying to make yourself a bit more presentable, and you looked back at her… Oh god… that face… I can’t be mad at that, buck….
“It’s okay… don’t worry about it”. You said as you still tried to make your mane a bit better looking overall. She raised her face and looked at you, and then she smiled like a foal… Guess I’m dying from diabetes anyways, should’ve kept the picture, you thought as you smiled her back…
This is a drawing I wanted to do because I was searching for anybody who had drew a P6M2 SeaMaster plane pony before, but I couldn’t, so I decided to do it myself. Either way, glad I did, I feel somewhat satisfied.
I drew her without mane, with a plane pony tail and wings (The engines are those blocky things on top of them), also, I drew her with unlikely amounts of fluff because… well... I love fluff; fluff is love, fluff is life.
I also drew a small military base in the background, consisting of a destroyer, a seaplane tender, a small base with an airplane runway, radar dish and a communications antennae, along with a [MIM-72] Chaparral, on the right side some [MIM-3] Nike Ajax and a barracks, the flying black stuff are, from left to right, two Boeing [B-52] bombers, an [UH-1] Iroquois, and a Douglas [A-4E].
