“Oh, Captain!” Nurse Redheart shoved the others aside.

“I got here as soon as I could.” Tempest replied, rounding a corner. She had been familiarized with the hospital since there’d been many close calls. But this one? In the middle of the day? This had to be it.

“Well, you ready?”

“Of course I’m ready!” Tempest yelled anxiously, pushing in the door. On the hospital bed lay her wife, shouting in pain. As much as it hurt her to see Pinkie like this, she tried to stay positive. After all, it was normal for there to be this much blood, right?

“Doctor, I don’t think there should be this much blood.” Nurse Redheart murmured.

Suddenly, everything went dark.

“Captain! Captain!” There was a faint voice.

“Eh…”

“Ms. Berrytwist?” Oh no he did not!

Tempest awoke, angry enough to strangle the doctor. But instead of seeing a wrinkly brown unicorn, she saw something else.

“Is that…”

Redheart nodded sweetly. “Yes. That’s your son.”

Tempest approached the bed, feeling tears starting to well up.

“And… your daughter.”

Huh?

“And your, uh… other daughter.”

And once again, she was out like a light.

Dr. Horse entered the room levitating three scrolls. He carefully unfurled them and set them down on a table with a quill. “So?”

“Gee, honey. I didn’t even think of that.”

Tempest mumbled something, rubbing the large bump on her head. Who knew the hospital floor was so hard?

Suddenly, the three sleeping babies were woken up by a piercing scream, and a glimpse out the door revealed just who the terrible noise came from. “GET <span class="caps">YOUR</span> <span class="caps">FINEST</span> <span class="caps">DOCTORS</span>! <span class="caps">PRINCESS</span> <span class="caps">TWILIGHT</span> IS IN <span class="caps">LABOR</span>!”
