i literally just randomly came up with that idea while figuring out how this picture could have possibly happened. the au would be less “luna isn’t mad,” and more of “luna has developed unhealthy coping mechanisms which came to a full head forty years ago, and celestia sent her to the moon because she had no idea wtf else to do, and then luna became twilight’s problem.” or, maybe, luna just gets sent to pony rehab. idk. it’s not like it’s something i’ll ever do more with.
