Nickname(s): Butterfly (friends and family), Effecto (Allegory Bright)

Identity: Nonbinary! They don’t really know their sexual oriantation, to be fair they hardly like anyone.

Special Talent: Solving crimes/mysteries vith their “gift”.

Occupation: Detective.

Family: Fluttershy (mom), Daring Do (ma), Pawprint (younger brother)

Personality: Butterfly Effect, the firstborn of Fluttershy and Daring Do, isn’t… exactly what most would expect. They aren’t kind, open to adventures, or really a fan of the idea of friendship. In reality, they are a huge workaholic which severe anxiety problems and the fear of being back stapped, which they always say just comes with the job of being a detective. You learn to be more careful, closed off, untrusting. Really, the only ponies they trust are their family and best friend, Allegory Bright, but that doesn’t mean they are any extra nice to them. They aren’t one to chitchat or sugar coat things, always going right to the point and being brutally honest. Some might even call them forceful. If they have a case on their hands, they will see it through the very end, not caring if they hurt ponies and creatures, that they have a reason to believe are quilty, along the way. The results are what matters to them. Still, they are extremely overprotective and, while they aren’t ones to cuddle or hug, they do put their wing around others if they do need calming down, especially victims they find on the crime scenes. They aren’t a monster, after all. They are a master at hiding their true emotions if they desire so, but it’s also clear really bad cases make them feel horrible, making them act more closed off and quiet then usual. They still care about the safety of others, it’s why they chose to be a detective in the first place, and they do get very… quiet and unrecognizably emotional if they fail to protect or save someone. While they do have a very strong sense of justice, they knew very well there are two sides to one story and choose to listen to both, not only in detective work. They are far too avare of the fact “criminals” aren’t always in the wrong. And that the police or those who schould be trusted aren’t always in the right. Because, really, if the ponies you are meant to trust can be really trusted, why did the teachers never helped them when they were bullied, when they were made fun of, when they had very noticable bruises.

Other facts!

-They have a strange power that no one in the family can explain. They can foresee the possible future of those they touch, it’s why they always wear their gloves. It can get really overwhelming, knowing the possible futures of others. Especially of those they care about, because, what if their future isn’t a nice one? How would they deal with that? Their name was changed to Butterfly Effect once their power manifested, they don’t mention their old name and probably never will.

-Of course, at first, they were quite popular because of their power. Other fillies and foals always wanted to know their futures, like what will they do tomorrow, did their test turn out okay, will this other filly like them? After one particularly bad vision, and the filly ending up in a hospital a day later, Butterfly began to be someone others feared. They were rumors that their visions, or just their mere presence, brought bad luck or that they actually didn’t have a vision and just made sure what they said came true. The butterfly began to be ignored by others soon after that, bullied later as well. No matter what their mothers did, it didn’t stop, so the young foal was soon taken out of school and began to be homeschooled at home. It certainly left a mark on them, as seen by their personality nowadays.

-They are actually a very talented artist and love drawing, especially animals. Most of their childhood was spent drawing pictures of the animals at their small cottage. Fluttershy and Daring still have them saved somewhere. They always draw a drawing of their favorite place they visited each month and send it to Allegory, alongside a letter. They don’t really talk about it to their moms, but they still write letters to the princess. Fluttershy and Discord decided to try and make them penpals in their childhood, as the two began being bullied around the same time, and the two very quickly became best friends. They haven’t visited each other in a very long time now.

-They have insomnia and don’t actually sleep most nights, which doesn’t really help with their already soar attitude. They also blame their bat pony genes a lot for their hard times falling asleep in the dark. They normally doze off sometime in the day, at least for an hour, either between breaks or before they go to work.

-They don’t have many friends, as they get annoyed with others extremely easily. Not annoyed with emotional creatures, no, just annoyed with the overly positive ones, which is half the pony race. They themselves know life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, nor is it all black and white, and they absolutely hate those who act like it is.
