Colored Celly lookin’ cozy with some morning joe. Was unsure how the mane and tail would turn out since they have quite the impressive color scheme, but I think they look alright. I think both could use more detail, but my current capabilities mean that they’ll look better if more simple, I believe. Never given a serious crack at depicting magic, so I just did so to mimic the wavy colored bubble things like in the show.

For my first full image made in digital, I quite liked how it turned out. Tia was a good subject and it was great to draw her again at all after a long time. I’m noticing my lines look quite a bit smoother than when I was on paper, it’s easier to do touch ups, and wow, my colors actually don’t look like Skittles flavored garbage! And I’m still loving the extra dimension I can add to my images now; it was something I really couldn’t pull off on paper, but here it’s much better.
