Every winter, Twilight heads up to her private mountain resort to take a break from the stress of governing Equestria. Queen Chrysalis, her pet, is taken along as well, and Twilight will often put her on the porch to enjoy the scenery. Because her Securu sack keeps her snug and warm, there’s little risk of Chrysalis catching a cold or pneumonia. Of course, one can never be too careful, and occasionally Twilight will put a custom-made, skin-tight bondage hood over Chrysalis’s head for extra warmth. She won’t be able to see anything (or talk for that matter) while wearing the garment, but Chrysalis has gotten plenty of practice wearing it over the decades.

For now, though, Chrysalis is free to enjoy the vista before her, remembering a time when she could run around free in the snow before she was permanently bound. But she’s accepted that those years are long gone and will never come again; such thoughts upset her once, but the former queen has long grown to accept them and accept what pleasures still come her way… including the cuddles Twilight will give her at bedtime.
