Well, well, well. twilight sparkle (hmm…) plz

It appears that I still got the skill to push out a more detailed piece of mine to go. <3

To be honest, I’ve been having this artwork piece in the works for over a month and finally around Christmas time managed to finish it off. Taking around 5 hours to complete the sketching and colouring, not even including the linearting which was a massive challenge because of using this new laptop I’m still getting use too, all my brushes were reset and I had to understand how to create them how I like them.

You have no idea how long that took. ;v;;

Enough of that, anyways! I’m extremely pleased of how these came out and they are definably a wonderful warm up in finishing my contest prizes which I’ll try to finish next depending on my work scheme. I had this drawing on my personal to-do list for so long and my motivation to finish at least one project was strong so I thought to create this, go back to my university Professional Illustration work, then start my contest prizes before going back to University for real!

I’ve been wanting to make these since other popular artists decided to make their own redesigns of the mane six and I really wanted to give it a go with my character design bone shaking with anticipation! <333 So, so much fun!

Colouring actually was extremely enjoyable this time around! Including that I’m trying to improve my art style with all the university skills and practice I’ve been working on.
