in my nextgen verse, AJ and Dash are very very very much in love! after their wedding (they were the first of the mane 6 to get married), the two moved to sweet apple acres to keep supporting the farm. Granny Smith thankfully lived long enough to attend the wedding, but peacefully passed about a month later surrounded by her loved ones.

their dynamic is unconventional, but very healthy. AJ is a very affectionate pony, both verbally and physically, but at the beginning Dash wasnt used to receiving that. Once she got a taste of it, though, she couldnt get enough. she and AJ are affectionate with eachother every chance they get. they have sweet pet names for eachother like “sweetie pie” and “darlin’” as well as playful ones like “featherbrain” and “fluff butt”
