Spike had made the journey before in his youth, but hed made it to Dragon Ridge much quicker than he remembered. As he stood upon the outskirts of the mountain range, he contemplated to himself about what he was really trying to accomplish. Sure a heros journey sounded nice in theory, but he had no real plan of action when he finally arrived at his destination. Though, he figured a sight seeing vacation is a nice enough consolation prize and if he was lucky enough, even some gems stones.

“HEY!! Dragon guy staring out into the canyon!” Spike heard someone calling out, more than likely to him. He twisted and turned looking for the source. Above him sat a young winged dragon over the edge of the ridge, roughly the same age as Spike. “I dont recognize you from around here. Most dragon-kin avoid this area, you lost?” the blue dragon inquired.

Spike was rather tentative to answer, considering his previous experience with dragons had been less than favorable. Though this one seemed friendly enough, a stark difference from what he knew of native dragons, so perhaps he could befriend this one.
