Years ago, long before this latest My Little Pony craze, my sister was a MLP fanatic and she started an online MLP newsletter: MLP Monthly. I thought it would be fun to write some pony stories for boys for the newsletter. My first story was inspired by Greek myth, my later stories were inspired by anime. I started introducing ponies based on anime characters, like Belle Star here who is based on Mihoshi.

I was playing around with cel painting, and decided to try something simple to get started. I found out that large areas of color are not easy to paint on cels.
