So I visited an alpaca ranch today, and let me just say to anyone who’s been waffling over meeting an alpaca in person, they are EVEN CUTER IN REAL LIFE! They look like something straight out of a cartoon. And they are so, so, so soft. I got to feed them and pet them and it was wonderful.

But something interesting I learned is that apparently alpacas really only make noise when they’re distraught. So it’s no wonder the other alpacas feel uneasy around Paprika; She’s constantly making noises. Of course, to her they are happy noises, but to other alpacas any noise is bad noise.
