Something a little different this time, my zebra’s beating heart! She’s a little shy and gets really nervous when other ponies listen to her heart. So it’s always beating a little fast, but don’t worry! She loves to run, so her heart’s really strong! She’s proud of the fact that, at rest, her heart rate is never above 40, except for when she’s nervous, like now, which puts her heart rate at 92 bpm. And, since she’s a zebra, she was born with black speckles on her tongue and throat, as well as her heart!
