Clover wants to know about the Observatory. Who lives there?
“Eh? Some old pony. Like, ancient. I wouldn’t touch him if he paid me, and I’ve had ponies pay me before.”
Clover thinks about what ponies could possibly know.
Is that our ship?
“Nope. We came up here to help guide the ship towards town, otherwise you would have seen Vanhoover from the Crow’s Nest.
Can we see the campsite?
“Uh… there aren’t any campsites around Vanhoover. I don’t think those are campers… probably homeless, or performers too cheap to rent a room.”
What’s up with the large tower- no, the barn!
“Hmm? Never seen a barn before? Pretty neat, right? And boring. Very boring. Then again, you are an earth pony…”
She gives a small chuckle, but Clover doesn’t seem to get it.
Clover wants to drop something, and watch it fall. But she didn’t really bring anything with her, and her [Inventory] is in her hammock…
“I wouldn’t let you toss anything, anyway. You could hit something. Part of being able to fly is being responsible, after all.”
Clover notices something in the forest…
“I don’t see anything… you sure you’re alright, kid? Maybe the thin air is getting to you.
Clover points her hoof directly at it, but she seems to have lost sight of it, too. Huh, she could have sworn she spotted something… [?] [Find the Mysterious Object!]*
Eventually, all good things must come to an end, as Shanty turns back to the sea. Peering into the fog, Clover can just barely make out their vessel as they touch down on the helm. Silverwind is yawning tiredly at the wheel, a few scattered crew members tending to the ropes and such.
“Ah ha! There ya are, ya lil’ bugger. Flew off on me, huh? Heh. Have fun up there, Shanty? I suppose we’re close, huh?”
“Land ho! That’s what I say. We’re less than two minutes off shore.
“Thank the Gods for that. I need to pass out sometime soon. Oi, Hook, come back to the wheel. I gotta head to my cabin really quick.
“No sleeping, Cap’n!”
“You’re not the boss of me.”
Silverwind chuckles as he heads down the stairs, pointing for her to sit inside of his cabin.
“I need to grab something, alright? Wait in there.”
After a minute of sitting on a familiar couch, Silverwind returns with her backpack, bow, and the mysterious, somehow familiar book…
