(Re-uploaded) Two days after I had left the swamp village I stumbled upon an unusual landscape. Flame shot from the ground and an eternal fog loomed. As I rounded a bend in the growth I came face to face with a terrifying beast! The chimera’s feline head smiled wickedly. “Mmmm, sisters look we have a fresh one.” I was nearly frozen until it stood…. Running, yes running was much better then being eaten! “Get back here!” The creature roared at me. I lost it going round a tree and sliding down a bank where I was fortunate enough to find a small hole and crawled inside. I could here the beast pounce around the tree and growl angrily at it’s lost pray. For nearly an hour I stayed in that hole until I was sure it had gone. -Hickory Switch 2/28/1000 C.R.
