Pom Strikes me as a lamb that would be in agreement of what Oleander thinks about dark magic. Whether that’s because she’s afraid of her or that agreement is genuine is up for debate.
Naturally, finding someone who didn’t actually regard her with hostility would mean a follower for her cause, and perhaps a friend!
So also naturally, she’d want to keep that friend and she’d naturally make some mistakes. One being that Pom can hold her own in a fight if she must, and two that she could be the very problem that’s making her upset. Oops.
