BACKSTORY OF PICTURE: Well Pinkie and Rainbow are good friends at this time and Pinkie starts dating a mare named Saffron. Pinkie and Rainbow both had high affections for each other, but never acted on it. But anyway, Pinkie started spending more time with her gf and less with Rainbow which made the lovesick RD sad.

So she wanted to dig her grave just in case.

Fluttershy is trying to be helpful to her bestie.
