Well, my intention was to make a ponysona of myself, but that didn’t turn out so well. So I created my first legitimate OC, Velvette Rose. She’s essentially what I am striving for my future. I hope to be in a symphony orchestra some day. I’ve been playing french horn for about 8-9 years now and there is still a lot left to learn and master. She’s also rather cute :) The two vectors on the right are from the pony creator that’s all known and famous on dA. The one of Velvette facing you is one I made. I traced the base model off another vector and then made everything else. Rather fun, but I need to figure out a faster way to do that. Took me several hours to finish.

Oh, in case you’re curious about the french horn having no valves, keep in mind that ponies don’t have fingers. So we’ll just say she plays a natural horn that can still play all the different notes and partials a french horn can make.

And her name comes from a type of brass used in some higher-priced instruments: rose brass. That was basically the theme I was going for :)
