Description:
Mulberry urgently explains what happened last night, telling Antoine about the guards and how she was attacked, and how one of them is still standing next to the apartment.
“Bastards…” He says angrily, looking away in disgust. “I’m guessing you escaped through the hole down to Hardtack’s then. You shouldn’t have came here though. Mr. Peacock has seen you, so Gamble will definitely know eventually.”
“Hardtack’s body changed. It has this weird beak-like head and-” The mare interrupts, but comes to find she is in turn interrupted herself.
“Yes, that’s what he looks like.” Antoine says, looking back at her seriously.
“What, but, no when I first came-”
“Yes.” He repeats. “That’s what he looks like. He’s looked that way since you’ve been here. Now, are you happy you’ve been you’ve been snooping around? At this point you can’t stop the revelations. If you can see some of them, it won’t be long until you see all of them.”
There is a small pause.
“Why couldn’t you have just-” He says stopping short and looking down at his hooves.
She holds out the map, and asks him to enchant it or whatever to make it like the orb in his apartment.
He looks at it and says, “You need to be more precise with your drawings, but not bad for a first try. Also, this isn’t gonna work on a map like this. You really shouldn’t mess with the runes if you don’t know what they do.”
Talking about the orb reminds Mulberry of something, and asks what the dots in the orb mean.
“The runes make everyone who is like… Well, the guards and River, appear. I was too hasty with my runes, and the spell doesn’t show them unless you’ve met them since they’ve… Well, that’s something you really don’t need to know about.”
