Guest Author’s Note: “So yes, Catacombs. It’s a Dexterity based board game about delving through a dungeon, where your movement and attacks are performed by flicking discs across a little battlefield. It’s super neat! Some other fun dexterity based games in the vein of this are the Dead of Winter Edition of Flick ‘Em Up, Crokinole, and Cube Quest (which partially inspired the previously mentioned soccer rules.)
While I’m a big fan of RPG groups, I do think you need something more than that to prevent long-term issues. RPGs can fall into the trap of “too much of a good thing.” If it’s all anyone expects to happen, the days when one person just isn’t in the mood become a massive drag for everyone.”
