Indebted to Benefactors[Alternate title Always pay your bills kids!]
I felt chills through out my body as I approached the building. Being over $50,000 in debt seemed like a childish fear compared to what I was walking into. With my low-paying job I just could not make ends meet I ended up taking out a loan from the bank. Now was able to pay off my bills(house, utilities, insurance) and was able to save up enough through serious spending cuts(ramen almost every night) to pay off the bank loan with interest that was accumulated with it. But as luck would have it, my house was robbed while I was at work and all the money was gone. Now the Bank learned of this and contacted me and said there was another way to pay off the loan. As it also turned out, the owner of the bank was good friends with the city mayor. So I show up at this creepy warehouse only to be knocked out after entering past the doors. Next thing I know I come to, dangling from a crane with my arms and legs bound in what appears to be latex suit. The bank owner and the mayor are standing in front of me. They tell me that the city could use a new addition to it’s park/playground I was to be apart of it as a way off paying off the debt. Next thing I know I hoisted over to this large assembly-type room and I’m lowered into thees long, metallic stilts. Once my restrained limbs are inserted into the stilts I quickly realize that that they are way too heavy for me to move on my own. Next they bring this enqine-looking mask with a zipper and straps at the back and fasten it on my face. It’s a very tight fits leaving me to make only small huffs of air out the nostrils and has small eye slits leaving me with a blurred vision and quiet to the world around me. As if things weren’t bad enough my “legs” start moving on their own. “Walking” me into this suit that looked horse like. With a beautiful long mane stretching from head to tail essentially engulfing my own and fake dark brown eyes at the head. The stilts step into the legs of the hide and my head is pushed into the hides as it’s drawn taunt around me. My already poor vision is further reduced as the fake eyes are like a glass with a heavy brown tint. As the hide is sealed and zipped shut it renders me almost immobile. Nothing my “legs” couldn’t fix as they start “walking” me in a very horse like manner to another area that was open lit. I stop moving and try to look around. To my left I could make out what seemed like a vat high off the ground and with black bold letters saying “Resin”. Panicking I try to struggle but it’s of no use. Next thing I know a warm feeling washes over me only to harden, quickly realizing that I’m being further sealed into this suit by the resin. Before it engulfs my head I hear very faint but familiar voices. “It’s not permanent but not temporary either!” I heard from the Mayor and “Don’t borrow what you can’t pay back!” came from the bank owner. Never should’ve done business with that prick! As the resin hardens an completely immobilizes me I feel something prop me in the air form my belly. Next thing is that the stilts, or now my arms for that matter move themselves into what I could guess as a galloping position and lock in place. Then I’m decorated with a saddle made of leather and covered with elaborate bows all around. Stockings are pulled up my front and back legs. The last thing I see is a pole with a ribbon twirled around it with big letters at the top on a large stylized sign with a name.
“Annabelle”So, I couldn’t sleep one night and decided to join naughtycatnick’s stream at 4 in the morning my time. And honestly had quite a blast! Great people, Nick was a terrific streamer, there were technical difficulties here and there but overall enjoyed joining. In-stream he was offering to do $3 sketches and he convinced me to get some. $9 and some encouragement from the stream later and this happened. Definitely want to commission him in the future! Also wouldn’t mind getting some critique for the writing part. I’m sure there’s a lot of improvement I could make with it.
