Just a comic doodle from the Holidays spent with ma wonderful family :jolly:

I don’t know how much of a tradition it is outside of Denmark, but after the big holiday feast it is not complete without ris ala mande for dessert. A rice dish based on rice pudding, served cold. Often added with pieces of almond, but must contain one whole almond as well. The finder of the almond in their bowl earns a gift, usually candy or a game.

A typical prank among the adults is for the finder to hide the found almond in their mouth to keep the kids eating their portions, in their search for the prize. And yes, I am indeed notorious of doing so myself when I’m the one finding it. And yes, I won the almond gift this year >w< Was a boardgame of Cludeo. And yes that was EXACTLY how I got found out, evilly hiding the almond.
