Description:
She’s finally done, now I just need to figure out how to ship her. She’s absolutely huge, over 70 inches from hoof to hoof. She has removable/changeable eyelids for different expressions, and airbrushed freckles on her cheeks and snout. She also has removable custom made minky socks and another accessory which I’ll be uploading separately because it’s sorta mature I guess. I don’t really think it is, but better safe than sorry as far as this site goes. She has magnets in her snout so she can “hold” things, as well as in her hooves so she can properly hug back as per the commissioners request.
With all that out of the way, I don’t think I will ever do a plush this big ever again. A lifesized plush is one thing, but this one pushed the limits of my equipment, materials, and space. The eyes barely fit on the embroidery machine, and even then I had to compromise some design choices because what I wanted to do wouldn’t fit at this size. The individual pieces are so big that they took up the entire width of the minky fabric bolt, so there was a ton of inefficient patterning to make her. And most importantly, she was simply too big for me to easily work on and slowed my entire operation to basically a standstill. I usually have a spot where I can move a plush while I’m patterning or what have you, but she was way too big to fit. Like, she’s too big to set on a 3 person couch even without her having to bend all awkwardly.
Anyways, I thank everybody for being patient while I finished up this huge project, the plushies I have coming up should be much more manageable.
