While a hybrid of both changeling and dragon, Emerald Beetle identifies heavily with the dragons and wants to be treated as one. He strives to be cool and tough just like the dragons he looks up to, not sappy and soft like his Pop’s changeling colony. Though he assumes an air of being cool and carefree, Emerald becomes extremely flustered whenever he sees his crush idol, Inferno, hardly able to get a word out around him. Emerald and does have a friendly, caring, and excitable side to him, showing that he’s not all tough and dragon-like as he claims.

An enthusiastic, cheerful little girl, Pupa is young and innocent at heart and always will be. While her parents weren’t sure she would make it at first, she has made leaps and bounds in her personal growth. She doesn’t care that she is still mentally and emotionally immature for her age, instead living a carefree life playing with her numerous toys and pet bugs, tagging along with her big siblings, and whatever else makes her happy. Her parents, especially Ember, are still quite protective of her, but Pupa enjoys the attention. She is very happy in her own little world.
