It’s everyone’s favorite DJ – Vinyl Scratch!

She is made with soft minky fabric and stuffed with polyester fill. All details, including eyes and cutie mark are appliqued on – no embroidery here! Vinyl Scratch measures 24 inches from hoof to hoof.

This time around, instead of using a stitched line to complete the eye lashes, I opted to cut and applique the shape from minky fabric – I feel it gives me the opportunity to give the plush more expression!

Although no major changes to the pattern were made aside from scaling down to 24 inches, many changes to the assembly process have been made, creating cleaner corners! The mane and tail were assembled using a different method that I had hoped would save time, it didn’t, but it did create a higher quality result.

Vinyl Scratch took about 25 hours to make.
