Silverstream: Gallus! You didn’t tell me you could take your beak off!

Gallus’ beak: Actually, it got loose after Discord zapped it off this morning. Can I get it back now?

Silverstream: Oh, but Gallus! Your beak never fell off like this before! I mean, just look at your face! [inches forward to squish, pet and stroke Gallus’ beakless face] It feels so soft, smooth and cuddly without your beak on! [hugs the griffon’s head until he pushes her away]

Gallus’ beak: S- Stop that! You’re making me feel uncomfortable!

Silverstream: And your beak! [picks Gallus’ beak from off the ground, and looks at it closely as it grimaces uncomfortably in her claw] I have so many questions. How do you breathe when it’s not on your face? How do you get it to talk and move by itself? And where does your food go inside your beak? How does it even stay on your face to begin with? [starts poking, squeezing, stretching and contorting the beak curiously, even prying it open to see and feel what’s inside]

Gallus’ beak: Hey! [forces out some muffled, garbled and unintelligible noises] Ouch!… _{This. is. humiliating.} Oy!… [grimaces until it finally gets grabbed away forcefully by Gallus himself, and continues speaking while resting on his talon, facing Silverstream] That’s enough. Please never do that to my beak again, understood?

Silverstream: Aww. Guess I’ll get Professor Twilight or Ocellus to teach me about it next time. Or even carry out experiments on it-

Gallus: [glaring at Silverstream angrily] No. [brings his beak between his eyes, brushes off the dust from off his beak, rubs it on his feathery coat, and plonks it back on his face, adjusting it firmly] And no. It’s mine, and rightfully belongs on my face, get it? [points at his beak, before stroking and massaging it carefully] _{Sigh. Perhaps some superglue will help fix it back on for good.}
