at face value I dont like the new designs, but it doesn’t really bother me. I think of it the same way as some fan artists style.

but what really gets to me about this is the harsh reminder that these ponies that we love, and just waved goodbye too, are just products. a cute facade of something souless to be mercilessly commercialized.

I just forget that aspect, so it just seems wrong and tasteless for them to be promoting some simulacra of our dear friends so soon after the end.
