I seriously couldn’t shake this feeling while watching the finale, and I honestly needed to share it with you guys. Feel free to disagree. Honestly I don’t think the writers intentionally copied the Bible. I think they just wanted the show to have the most positive ending possible, and the Bible just so happens to also have the most positive ending possible. There’s a reason they call it “the greatest story ever told.” The one thing I might have changed to make the allegory more complete would be to have Twilight resolve not to rebuild the castle and instead live and travel among her people throughout her reign, since the Bible says that in the renewed world there won’t be any need for temples.
