No podcasts this week, mainly because I had cause to get pretty sad, but also because Session 50, hopefully tomorrow night, is a bit of a doozy to plan.
Transcript:
Rainbow Dash: Okay, if you WERE being threatened but couldn’t talk about it… Is there any way you could give us some kinda signal?
Applejack: About three ways, but Ah don’t need to! Because, again, Ah’m here by choice! Ah like bein’ cautious, but this is a bit much!
DM: Applejack’s pace picks up even more.
Twilight Sparkle: I’m still a bit worried about charms and such, so… Would you be willing to subject yourself to a series of magical examinations after work is over?
Rarity: Haha, um, let’s not go down that particular path, shall we?
DM: Applejack looks more annoyed all of a sudden. Full disclosure, our group has a bit of a history with mind control paranoia. Once tests and checks start happening, they tend to get out of hand. So I try not to run that kind of scheme.
Rarity: The less said about the Captain’s New Glamour incident, the better. Anyway. Without the nefarious or arcane, there’s only one more possibility. I’m willing to bet the reason for Applejacks’ change of plans is something relatively mundane.
Applejack: Yeah, like a change of scenery! Just give it up already!
DM: And now it’s time to roll!
