Page 665 – Quest Chain Train

It’s not very often I find a screencap that lets me do bigger panels over many smaller ones while allowing for structured conversations, but when I do it makes my job a lot easier for a day.

In other news, this October outside the comic has been pretty difficult for me overall. I’m approaching “well” levels of “done”-ness.

Twilight Sparkle:

DM: You can tell she’s pointing specifically in the direction of a desert town called Dodge Junction. You can get there by train.<br/>
Rainbow Dash: So we took the train… to find out we need to take a train. Great.<br/>
Pinkie Pie: Does anything interesting happen on THIS trip?<br/>
DM: No. It’s boring.<br/>
Pinkie Pie: Do I have to MAKE it interesting with some unnecessary dramatic tension?<br/>
DM: Uh… I don’t think so?<br/>
Fluttershy: Did our guide, um, happen to say why Applejack went this way…?<br/>
DM: She didn’t say much of anything.<br/>
Rarity: Well now you’ve got me curious. Why was she silent?<br/>
DM: I’ll tell you the reason as soon as I figure it out myself.
