So lately I’ve been on a kick watching a bunch of old Max Fleischer Cartoons and listening to the music of Cab Calloway and other artists of the time. The cartoons have the sort of weird, dark, and outright bizarre atmosphere that I’m drawn to, so I tried to capture the feel in this piece.
