Description:
I saw the leaks of the end of g4 and how chrysalis, Cozy glow, and Tirek dont get happy endings… so I decided to rectify that and I made my own happy ending that follows the final episode… except this is also in an alternate timeline from my own series where Strange Quark here is still Celestia’s adopted son but he never ran across Chrysalis until the battle of the final episode. he still thought she was the most beautiful mare he had ever seen and still wanted to be friends with her… even despite her thousand year imprisonment.
oh and btw the reason their irises are not stone is because I couldn’t find the material branch for that, also their poses are replicated from the leaks from the last episode, and I also figured out volumetric lighting
Strange Quark’s request was an odd one but given his reasons Twilight Sparkle saw no reason to deny the young adult alicorn his request… he wished to take the petrified forms of Chrysalis Cozy Glow and Tirek and place them “somewhere peaceful and out of the way” which he revealed to be a grassy field about 3 miles from ponyville. he levitated the three petrified villains onto the platform of a massive vehicle he had built he called a “recognizer” Twilight didnt know much about the digital world he said he had created but he certainly knew enough to fabricate things like this “recognizer” as the structure in the center slid up the legs of the ship she always thought it looked like a giant black staple remover with orange lights. the engines rumbled to life as it lifted off the ground and headed towards the location he had mentioned. Twilight had remembered the reason Strange Quark had asked to relocate he had mentioned that “no one deserved to be lonely no matter how evil they were” and that “perhaps showing them somepony cares about them enough to keep them company for their thousand year sentence would change their perspective” Twilight knew he had a point and that if he was willing to keep them company for a thousand years then who was she to stop him?
Over the months Strange Quark visited the petrified trio every day to tell them about stuff that usually didnt pertain to them… he would just talk to them to give them much needed company. often he would wash off any dirt, dust or bird droppings that had collected on them. the thing he found most curious is that the petrification had affected everything BUT their eyes… he supposed it made sense as the eyes are often referred to as the windows to the soul… he particularly enjoyed blissfully staring into Chrysalis’s eyes as they shimmered in the sunlight like cut emeralds set in stone. for being fixed in a single expression he knew her emotions surprisingly well as if he could read her very soul, ponies often told him he had empathic abilities and he supposed that being in the presence of a being that sensed and consumed emotions it must amplify his natural empathic abilities. he often felt anger which was not unreasonable considering she was less than a decade into her sentence and hadn’t had time to cool yet or introspect much, but he also felt confusion surround them. often times he would give Chrysalis compliments. and other times he would read the trio stories on days it was sunny. occasionally he would find that other ponies would accompany him to talk to the petrified villains although not many understood why they did it as they still felt uneasy around even the petrified forms of once powerful beings.
“you know… despite everything you three have done, despite all the pain you have caused… I forgive you. and in case you wonder why I keep coming back, it’s because I know how painful being lonely is and i dont want ANYONE to have to feel that pain, now I know equestria as a nation is not ready to forgive you yet but just know there are some who do forgive you.” Strange Quark said as he sensed conflicting emotions surrounding the petrified trio. he felt a vortex of anger, confusion, and small swirls of sadness and what he thought was possibly longing.
“alright I picked up another book from the library. this one is called ‘a wrinkle in time’ trust me this one is a good story.” Strange Quark said as he opened the book and began reading aloud… he felt a particular sadness when he looked into the eyes of Chrysalis as he knew how much it must hurt to see the world not as a participant but as a watcher. he still thought she was a very beautiful mare and would often bring her gifts in the form of flowers he would put in the holes of her legs. over time and many more of his daily visits, ponies began to visit the petrified trio and talk to the three villains about their lives, Strange Quark also warned them to never bring up twilight sparkle as he knew it must be a tender subject for the trio. and so ended the first year of his millennium long duty to protect and comfort the three petrified villains.
