Applejack had come to Twilight’s house for a visit and to talk about the latest news.

Applejack: So, uhh, I heard you were buildin’ some kinda machine that can make ya skinny again?

Twilight: Yeah. The blueprints have been checked over and finalised and I’ve just started construction. The only problem is that the power sources required are very rare, especially here in Canterlot City. I would need plenty of plutonium rods and have them attached to the- science babble, science babble, science babble, science babble -and then it should be able to work.

Applejack: Uuhhh… Alright, let’s just pretend for a minute that I don’t know as much about science stuff than you do, so could ya say that in more simple terms?

Twilight: I will, once I’ve shown the machine to you. Come on.

Then, AJ’s stomach starts rumbling.

Applejack: Actually, could we do that after a little snack? Do ya have any apple fritters? Or 20?

Twilight sighs and face palms.
