This is my Christmas-themed custom of this year, and it was originally going to be the deer from the Friendship Is Magic Christmas special from this year but I saw some fabric at a store and was like “I need to make more pink deer!” so I did my own thing with my own style and ideas.
Pony base is a generation 4.5 Pinkie Pie. Base coated in white gesso, full body paint job in cameo pink acrylics. The patterns blend to peach, then antique white then white. Put medium pink on the back and ear tips, added glitter on the spots on the back. Eyes painted entirely in my own style, with gold, white and black glitter acrylic embellishing. Rest of paint work is sealed in Artists Varnish.
Antlers are cut from pink suede leather then hand stitched. Made a matching tail, with a tuft of lavender faux fur that matched the fur I used for the mane. Finished the look off with a double ribbon bow of gold and seafoam green ribbons, 2 gold bells and some festive gems on the back.
