Description:
Canterlot High under construction in the mid 1880s. Certain details being different as this is long before subsequent renovations and remodelings ever occured.
As shown here, work still has to be done on the brick structure and work on the school’s third floor has just started. The great stained glass window of a White Mare has not yet arrived and in it’s place is a wooden form holding up the frame. The stained glass window, crafted by Louis C. Tiffany and his design team via commission, is currently being assembled in their studio in New York City and is set to be delivered to Canterlot via rail.
Even the gold leaf unicorn busts flanking the structure are still in the process of being sculpted and are planned to be shipped to the site of the school.
Just trying to add some sense of history to the school and the city it sits in. I figured the building had elements of gothic revival architecture incorporated into it’s design. here is nobody present because they are all on break.
