I have a question before the MLP season 9 starts.

What will happen to the future of the King Sombra?

We all know that the Mane 6 will win in some way and solve everything, the usual (honestly, I guess I know how it will end, but maybe Hasbro gives us a surprise).

But the destiny of the villain seriously intrigues me, how will it be?

The most logical option is that it will be destroyed again, either by Mane 6 or by Grogar.

Although there may be a small chance that the King Sombra will be purified and redeemed, since his redemption happened in the comics and sometimes I feel that Hasbro takes ideas from the comics (like the pony of the shadows, although it originated in the 4th season , the image of the pony of the shadows appeared in the comics before season 7).

Besides, he would be a good ally against Grogar.

Although if it happens I hope there is a good story for the redemption of Sombra, because if there is no good story, they will ruin a good character.
