You nod your head and want to try one out. She passes you the book and the first spell that caught your eye was a basic fireball. The stance looked simple and easy. Prosoma looks at the spell you were looking at and said that’d be a good one to start off, but maybe not in the library. You follow Prosoma into what looks to be a throne room.

You take another look into the book and copied the stance. You call out the spell and a ball of fire slowly appears in front of your hoof. You don’t feel the heat coming off from the ball, but it gives off the same amount of light as a campfire. With a thrust of your foreleg, you sent the blazing ball flying to a wall and leaving a big scorch mark.

Prosoma was amazed at your first attempt. She took the book back and turned a few pages. She grinned as she found a spell and scanned it thoroughly. She passed the book back to you and got into a rather weird stance. She was in a stance with her legs wide apart and front hooves behind her. She called out the spell and some kind of energy beam fired from her hooves.

You were astonished at the spell, but she had the spell pointed up hitting nothing. You looked through the book and found a spell that summons a gateway that teleports you to any location of your choosing. This made you think about the one changeling Prosoma mentioned that went flying off course from the others. Maybe with this spell you could probably go and find him or her.
