A massively under represented series in the crossovers here, despite it being possibly one of the best anime series ever made, (not something I’d say lightly).

(Wish I could say the same for the movie though, which seemed to be lacking any of the charm which made the series so good).

This character (Ruri) is the girl who actually controls the Nadesico battleship. In the series she was genetically modified, and given special teaching, meaning she’s way too advanced for her young age.

Her most common line in the series seems to be calling everyone ‘idiot’ under her breath. (Although that’s a pretty good analysis of the way some of the characters act).
