Bio: Lemuria is considered the first recognized scryer to the Skimmer species. She existed years ago and worked under King Haze himself.
As a young nymph Lemuria possessed the same signs of scryership that the current scryers have, but was convinced that she was crazy. Spirits that aren’t there would speak to her, tell her things that were going on or were going to happen soon. During her time the scryer was not a recognized power, so many just claimed she wasn’t right in the head. As such she lived much of her life in solitude for fear of others making fun of her.
In old journals she kept she often calls herself crazy or consumed by madness as things that aren’t there insist upon speaking to her, touching her, and getting angry when she didn’t respond.
It wasn’t until later when she predicted the splitting of the mountain that opened a grotto on one side of their homeland and saved many breezies that others started to look into her ‘gift’, as it was now called.
Since then she did start trying to listen to the strange creatures that had inhabited her entire life and found they could be helpful if paid attention to. With her ability to figure out future paths she was employed under the King at the time and started the traditional relationship between the scryer and the skimmer leadership.
Due to her own emotional scars with others growing up she never did mate and remained mostly a recluse, only coming out when she was needed.
But when she heard of another child later on in her life going through what she had gone through she immediately took it upon herself to train them and teach them about the gift and curse of scryership. That was the first apprentice, Akasha.
She loved Akasha like her own child until the day she passed, and Akasha then took up her mantle, swearing to take on her own apprentice when the time came.
