I wonder if anyone remembers my “promise” of exactly a year ago, or the project in the context of which it was given for that matter ;)

I’m diabetic and back in 2017 I started collecting the colorful caps of the needles I use to text my bloodsugar. The result of last year was still very pixeled. One year later I got to admit that a year’s worth of collecting more of these caps has not brought enough of a harvest to expand this mosaic to include the body of Rainbow Dash or at least parts of it), but still the overall looks are less pixelled now than they have been last year. For lack of any black and white caps (they only come in the seven colors used in this mosaic) I added a little paper to give Rainbow Dash a visible smile and more elaborate eyes.

I guess I’m going to continue with this project. Let’s see what it will look like on January 28th 2020 :) 

Oh and this Friday is Rainbow Dash Day on Equestria Daily.
