Hold onto your sweet dreams, pond-dwellers, because it’s time to meet Chicanery: Prince of Nightmares!  He’s the cherished baby boy of Discord and Steven Magnet and he’s here to style your hair and possibly devour your capacity for sanity, depending on his mood!  He’s his noodle dads’ pride and joy, and Fluttershy probably loves him as well, like a Fluttershy do. One day he’ll evolve from Prince of Nightmares to the Almighty Goblin King of Gibbering Madness and NOOOOPE, and what a wild Saturday night that’ll be!

Once more with feeling: this ain’t Junior Gala canon.  In JG, Discord is a basically-genderless, nearly-eternal presence tied directly to the planet itself, and he lost interest in things reproducing about 500 million years ago. It gets old.
