Miss Cheerilee watched in alarm as the large cauldron rocked, rattled and smoked on the classroom floor. Zecora noticed her apprehension. The alchemist turned her head and addressed the teacher’s concerns.

“Do not be alarm if the cauldron rattles and toils. It’s what it does when a potion boils.”

Cauldron made a loud burping sound, followed by another and another. Zecora looked back at the cauldron and pursed her lips and then spoke again.

“I do not want to stoke fears of impending doom, but can I have everypony evacuate the room!”

That was the last time Miss Cheerilee held Career Day at the school, and the next day the town of Ponyville started plans for building the new schoolhouse.
