Daydream hid behind Daylight at the sight of Starlight before her. Trembling slightly, she peeked from behind the lavender mare. This version of her mother looked so much like her own but something was different about her. A calming and kind presence and concern in her eyes. It was odd seeing Sunset so close to Starlight without there being some sort of fight between them.

Daylight cleared her throat and spoke. “Mama Glimmy, Mama Sunny, this is Daydream Flare. I found her when I went universe hopping with Comet Blast and the Princess. She’s from a world where….where mama Glimmy isn’t very kind. I couldn’t leave her in that universe without knowing what you’re like here. Is it okay if she stays with us? At least for a few days before we return her to her world?”

Starlight and Sunset looked at each other for a moment and then back to their daughter.

“Does Twilight know that she’s here?” asked Sunset.

Through slightly gritted teeth, Daylight responded. “Not really…”

Sunset then looked at her wife. Starlight looked back and the two nodded. 

“I’m going to go get some extra blankets for her. She can stay in your room for a few days but don’t ever go behind the princess again. Promise?” Starlight said.

Daylight nodded and Starlight and Sunset went to get her room prepared for their new guest.

While I don’t agree with how she views Starlight, I can accept it as an AU where Starlight stayed a villain. I loved her OC’s design and felt bad for her story, so I needed to draw this.
