You ask Autumn Gold how she and “Horseshoe-butt” met.
Hoofingold: “Ho ho! She’s striking back now, isn’t she!”
Lucky Smith giggles, looking pleased with herself.
Autumn Gold: “Hmm… actually, we both grew up in Hoofington, so we’ve been friends for as long as I can remember. Despite her name, though, she wasn’t very lucky, and lost what little family she had back when she was still a little filly.
I invited her to come live with us, but believe it or not, she was rather shy back then. When she declined, I took it upon myself to go live with her instead. I guess that’s when we really started getting to know each other.”
Lucky Smith: “Heeheehee… Oh! And that’s how Shiny-butt here got her cutie mark!”
Autumn Gold: “Oh, that’s right. Lucky’s house happened to be right next to a wild orchard, and I’ve been taking care of it ever since. I guess you could say we were destined to be together, huh?”
